Firebirds Wood Fired Grill was a delightful find! This was our first visit to Winton-Salem and we had no clue where to visit. We stumbled upon a gluten free bakery, To Your Health Bakery, and they referred us to Firebirds Wood Fired Grill, just down the mall from them.
Although the restaurant did not have a dedicated Gluten Free menu, the restaurant was able to indicate which items could be made gluten free. The waiting staff seemed very concerned about my Celiac dietary restrictions and ensured the restaurant manager, himself, would come to our table to address my needs.
Both items I ordered, the Grilled Tenderloin Salad and the Jalapeño Deviled Eggs were delicious! Though I would not say this was an inexpensive meal, the price point was average for the this caliber restaurant, but most importantly, I did not experience any Celiac related symptoms after my meal. I would give my dining experience an A+, and we are sure to be back!
